need you: many PTs (as nothing has a rapidfire against them), X destroyers, X battlecruisers and a prayer to the lords of Kobal

ok. i have lvl 1 expedition and i sent 1 cruiser out in outer space and it said "Your expedition fleet made contact with a friendly alien race. They announced that they would send a representative with goods to trade to your worlds." will they really send me stuff? is so when, if not does the expedition result in nothing?
